The first Satellite Award Exhibition celebrates London’s most promising emerging artistic talents. The exhibition will be open to the public Thursday, September 1st and will run through Thursday, September 15th. A reception will be held Friday, September 9 7-10PM with the artists present.
The four artists in the exhibition have been chosen by the educational partner institutions of Satellite Project Space, Bealarts, Fanshawe College, and Western University, each artist representing their respective program from which they graduated this year such as the Bealart Foundation program, Fanshawe College Fine Art Diploma program, and Western University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts programs. The exhibition is an opportunity for the artists to show their work to the public in a professional setting at an important milestone in their artistic career, having just completed their professional training.
