Closing Reception: December 7 3-5PM
We find ourselves in common in this moment in time, fixed to the scheduled structures of our surroundings. There are significant endings unfolding, initiated by an addition or reworking of these existing structures. Yet, endings suggest further progression, a continuous cycle of becoming, learning, processing, and renewal. Where Satellite Project Space has accompanied us in our transitional cycles, we are with Satellite in its ending that signals a new progression.
As Visual Arts graduate students, our artistic practices too are undergoing immense transformations, fixed to an ever-present looming ending; propelling us forward. We are fixed to the scheduled structure of ending. The end of study, the end of semester, the end of year. But the structure itself persists, it evolves whenever new artists enter into where it is we find ourselves here.
