Satellite Project Space is pleased to present KNOW SHOW, a group exhibition by Fanshawe Fine Art 3rd year students. KNOW SHOW 2018 is a series of B&W photographic portraits depicting the graduating Fanshawe Fine Art Class of 2019, within the context of their morning lectures. Not selfies, not school portraits, but the representation of the individual within a moment. Here they are allowed to exist as themselves, removed from their creative duties, yet eventually to be transformed through a white-cube gallery exhibition. These organic poses, captured in their immediate studio space, emphasize a contrasting relationship between the student-artist and their social environment.
