Statement:

Let’s throw the Tarot, and we can begin reading into the hand we are dealt.

What can it prepare us for: The isolation felt from Covid-19 pandemic world, its quarantines and safety measures? What can it reveal: Persistent struggles within current events? What can it see: A future coping with life and growth? What can it reflect: Feeling life fearful and stagnant as joyful pasts await distant experiences…

What do we have: Intuitive minds have, like the original Tarot cards, hand-painted images aligned with a contemporary world – surroundings to situations, new symbols and old symbols, reading and mythologizing contemporary lives. The 22 Major Arcana Tarot cards are singularly represented by each of the 22 students in the exhibition – from the Fool to the World, and everything in between.
