I have done portraits but how can I make them better? This series is an experiment in learning to emulate light and creating a sense of glowing with acrylic paint. Preparing for recent exhibitions I have majorly improved with the ability to depict faces but now it is time to practice a new skill. Challenging myself this way will not only make my future paintings more visually interesting but also makes me think critically about my use of colour.
