Please join the first year Western University BFA Visual Arts students at Satellite Project Space from 3-5pm on October 4th for the closing reception of LINE THRU.
The exhibition is centered on a walk taken through the city using a fire map of London from 1926, where students were forced to navigate and negotiate a landscape in flux: entire city blocks razed, roads rerouted, passages opened and closed. The work acts as a document and reflection upon their encounters with the urban environment in the form of maps, drawings, and photographs.
