Painting-In-Question, an exhibition by Western Visual Arts students, offered them the opportunity to encounter their curiosities, interests, and ideas of painting. Through experimenting with these encounters, each student developed a question that nudged their inquiry. Functioning like a mirror, this question encouraged reflection and response in their thinking as they experimented with materials and process. This project is an investigation into the practice of painting-in-question.
